We ask our service men and
women
to prepare to give their lives for their country.
The least we can do
is make a full accounting of them
when the fighting is over.
Currently, there are still servicemen unaccounted for from World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Some of these men were reported alive as POWs, but were never returned to us.
We should not - no, will not - rest until we know the fate of ALL of sons, brothers and fathers who were left behind.
This is not about numbers although they are compelling. This is about people. Brothers, sons, fathers and neighbors - Americans just like you.
It is said that those who failed to learn from history's mistake are doomed to repeat them. Well, here's your chance to correct a mistake and prevent your children or your children's children from suffering the same fate as these missing men.
Let the President and your Senators
and Congressmen know you care
about our missing servicemen.
All the fancy words and graphics in the world will not change the fact that we, as a nation, have failed the men who offered the most precious gift they possess, their lives, to their country.
Never Forget!!!!
We'll never forget Sheldon Duane Schultz, a 20 year old helicopter pilot shot down over Laos in 1968. The members of Post 889 have adopted Sheldon and are writing letters to find out what is being done and why more isn't being done to give his family back the son they love or the answers they deserve.
Click here to learn more about Sheldon what Post 889 is doing to help his family bring him home.
