These are some of the sites I, as a Proud Canadian, find interesting: The first place I like to start is with a good search engine. Yahoo Canada is a good start. It gives you the option of just accessing Canadian sites. The Canadian Broadcasting Corp has site as well. There you can get info on the listings and when your favorite shows are on. One of mine is This Hour has 22 minutes. Good political satire. They also have a very nice Kids Page. The PrimeMinster of this great nation is on the net as well. It even has his picture. Another Government site. This one can serve to keep up to date on Federal affairs. This is an interesting site. You have the opportunity to FAX THE FEDS. Just think of the fun you can have now. The Internet is a wonderful invention. One of the many computer mags on line is called The Computer Paper. It is a good source of information as well as articles on hardware and software. Another computer paper worth mentioning is Monitor. It's out of Ottawa and is full of good information as well as some excellent reviews and news. Definitely worth a look. For those news hounds there is Canada News Wire. The latest news as well as press releases from Canadian companies. I'm originally from Halifax Nova Scotia. I do enjoy the Daily News as a good morning read. It's the paper that gives you the dirt. For the newspaper readers CANOE, Canadian Online Explorer, is a site for your eyes. It has financial as well as sports and entertainment news. It' a good source of links to other news sites as well as a search engine. Technology News can be found at CNET Canada. This link to is to the Yahoo site but it's all Canadian. It has a list of sites to start your search for your truly wonderful country. This is a link to a magazine called Sources. It is a great site for you to find the hard to find and the less publicize sites on the net. A friend of mine in Ottawa does this site so it can be classed as Canadian. It's a link to the Johnson's. He's a Batman Fan to end all Batman Fans. He was a fan when it was just a TV show and not all the high tech wizardry of today. This is a site of great interest. This person is of the opinion that we as Canadians should be well informed as well as proud. It is his Campaign Headquarters and it's worth a visit. I'm sure you will leave informed and proud. As a divorced father I think that there is never enough information out there. This site is called F.A.C.T which means Fathers Are Capable Too. This is a good place to start your search for information about your rights and choices. Remember. Fatherhood is forever and your child's life depends on you. CFB Petawawa has a site of note as well. If you are interested in the area or are coming here it's definitely worth a look. It is well done and has lots of good information about the base as well as the area. Everybody likes to get something for nothing. We Canadians are no different. I had to find a Canadian site to fit the bill and I have. It's aptly called FREE STUFF FOR CANADIANS. It's worth a look. This site is just in. If you plan on traveling this summer it would be nice to get some inexpensive gas. This site does tries to help. It lists gas stations around the province and country that has CHEAP GAS. Born on: September 25, 1997
