Minelaying cruiser Helli sunk by Italian submarine 15 August 1941. 29 Greek warships and auxiliary vessels sunk during the war on the mainland. Three of the destroyers were sunk covering the allied evacuation from Greece.

The cruiser Averoff escaped to the allies along with 7 destroyers and 5 submaines.
