Luzon 15 October
A kamikaze crashed into the US carrier Franklin which was then forced to withdraw.
January 8, 1945
CVE Kadashan Bay hit by Kamikaze.
January 1945
CVE Ommaney Bay sunk at Lingaren gulf.
Iwo Jima February 1945
February 21 kamikazes attacked and sunk the escort carrier Bismarck Sea and damaged a further five other ships including the US Saratoga.
Okinawa March-April1944
11 March carrier Randolph hit by a kamikaze.
18 March 40 aircraft attacked and damaged Intrepid.
26 March 9 US ships including the battleship Nevada were hit by kamakazes.
29 March Heavy cruiser Indianapolis hit
New Mexico hit
6/7 April 355 kamakaze took off with 200 being shot down. The destroyers Bush and Calhoun were sunk and 25 other ships were damaged.
Damaged ships on the 7th included the carrier Hancock and the battleship Maryland.
