Geography

Connecticut borders three states: Rhode Island to its east, Massachusetts to its north, and New York to its west. New England's longest river is the Connecticut River, which bisects the state. It flows 407 miles. Along its southern border lies Long Island Sound, with 250 miles of shoreline.
