HAWAII is the big one with an active live volcano,
MAUI is the next in size and was formed by two volcanoes.
OAHU means "the gathering place," it's the gateway to the Isles;
KAUAI has a canyon that extends for many miles.
Another island in the chain is known as MOLAKAI;
And right nearby, one can find the island of LANAI.
People live on NIIHAU although it's very small.
But on the island of KAHOOLAWE, no one lives at all.
