The world of being engaged to a US Marine is very different from the ordinary fiance. In addition to having to deal with the stress of planning our weddings and our futures, we are usually also coping with a long distance separation from our future husbands. We have to adjust to constant changes in their schedules which often means changing our wedding date as well. Most of the time the stress of planning the wedding is multiplied by the fact that we are doing it totally on our own with no input from the groom. Then we normally have to move to a totally new, sometimes foreign, home far from our families. These are but a few of the things that we have to deal with.

This group, and webpage, has been created in order to cater to those specific needs of ours. It is our hope that it will help everyone in our situation to make it through successfully and a little less ruffled.
