Don't use poison or alter your weapons to increase enemy suffering.
Let enemy soldiers surrender.
Treat all captives and detainees humanely. Don't use coercion in questioning captives and detainees.
Provide medical care for sick and wounded captives. Safeguard captives from the dangers of combat.
Ensure the safety of civilians.
Report war crimes immediately through your chain of command.
