6th District Dance

 

On 5 April 2008, VFW Post 160 hosted the 6th District Dance. District Commander Bob Hole, his staff and members of the district enjoyed a superb dinner, music and dancing throughout the evening.

 


 

Easter Party

 

Every year the Easter Bunny visits the VFW Post 160 Children's Easter Party...this year, however, we were visited by the Esther Bunny (Michelle "Esther" Ryan, that is).

 


 

Old Soldiers Day, 27 May 2007

 

On 27 May, VFW Post 160, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Men's Auxiliary hosted over 40 Old Soldiers from the Armed Forces Home, Washington D.C. The Post honored the veterans by providing great food and hours of entertainment. VFW Post 160 Officer of the Day Don Stockton organized this annual event with help of other members of the post and affiliated organizations.

 


 

Memorial Day, 28 May 2007

 

On 28 May, members of VFW Post 160, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, the Men's VFW Auxiliary, Pup Tent 3 Military Order of the Cooties and Military Order of the Cooties Auxiliary and the Marine Corps League remembered our nation's veterans by laying wreaths at eight memorial sites in Glen Burnie, MD. This sacred duty of honoring our fallen servicemen is performed annually by VFW Post 160 and affiliated organizations. It is our honor to recognize our nation's veterans who served in defense of freedom and democracy throughout our nation's great history.
