This small one-level concrete station was completed in October 1943 on a 1.6 acre site leased on permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and was used as a Base-End Station for Fort Dearborn (B3 S3 for Battery 103/Seaman and AAIS OP 2). It was purposely destroyed in the 1950's by the Mass. National Guard during a training exercise. Bits of concrete still remain strewn across the beach.
Located on Plum Island, Newbury, Massachusetts.
