Looking north west into Laos. Hamburger Hill [Dong Ap Bia] is just to the left of center in the background. The hilltop devoid of vegetation. The A Loi airstrip is on the valley floor just to the right of center. Highway 548 runs down the valley floor and crosses another trail leading in from Laos. That trail eventually turns into the "Red Brick Road", highway 547 which leads past FSB Vehgle and into Hue.
