Special Forces
Not much is known on this elite force. It comprises of paratroopers, commandos, marine commandos, underwater demolition, mountain elite, and recon force. Bases in Pireaus, Crete and Thrace. One of the world's best. Two incidents have documented their ability. The 1974 turkish invasion of Cyprus provided 'O Tolmon Nika' with the opertunity to shine, and to protect Christendom. The Hellenic Special Forces supposedly scored the best kill ratio of all military history. Also in 1996, The Imia incident, (where turkey intruded on Legal Hellenic Land), the MYK (Marine commandos or 'seals') deployed from a sub took back the Island and also had each turkish soldier on an adjacent island under surviellence, ready to open fire. Truly an exceptional force.
