Preface of XCOM (eXtraterrestrial COMbat unit)
Back in the mid-1990s, it became evident that we were not alone, and by 1998
UFOs began to land openly in rural areas; the main aim of these early missions
was the abduction of local inhabitants and animals. Our first military contact
with the aliens led to the massacre of an entire squad. In November of that
year, an emergency meeting was convened at the United Nations. As a result of
that meeting, X-COM was established. In the following years, X-COM waged war
against the alien menace. Most of this activity occurred in the cities and rural
areas of Earth, but eventually it took us to the aliens' main base on Mars
(Cydonia).
Our victory at Cydonia saw the defeat of the immediate alien threat but, in its
turn, reawakened a second wave of destruction that X-COM was later enlisted to
counter.
Alien activity began once more in 2039; X-COM only nominally existed at this
time. Most of our bases were decommissioned or turned into theme parks. The call
for the reinstitution of X-COM was led by the media after numerous ship and
aircraft losses at sea. Years of recession and political feuding meant that
funding from the world's governments was not forthcoming; we had to raise the
money by alternative corporate means.
From 2041, after the initial recruitment in 2040, the second alien war was waged
under the seas and oceans of the world. The war came to its climax in the battle
at the alien city of T'leth. Buried underwater for 65 million years, the city
had the ability to destroy the entire Earth. Fortunately, we discovered that the
alien society was constructed like that of the bees and, after killing the alien
equivalent of the queen, everything else fell apart.
T'leth rose from the water only to self-destruct, a sight I don't think any
present at that time will forget. Since then we have had no alien activity; that
was until a short while ago, when the first Dimension Gate appeared.
The year is 2084 and civilization has undergone some fundamental changes in the
last 40 years. The Earth has been contaminated by the alien wars, pollution,
ecological collapse and devastating climatic changes. In attempts to alleviate
the problem, the human race has sought other planets to colonize, a process that
began with the Moon.
To try to overcome Earth's problems without abandoning the planet altogether, a
self-contained city called Mega-Primus was erected. Although constructed on
Earth, the environment and climate within Mega-Primus were designed to be
self-contained and self-sufficient. To that end, Mega-Primus uses and recycles
its resources, separating it totally from the Earth's toxic environment.
The Mega-Primus experiment was a success. The city's population enjoyed a
low-cost and comfortable lifestyle until 2080. It became apparent that the
social and physical fabric of society had begun to deteriorate. Sociologists
were at a loss to explain the cause of the decay but the statistics were clear:
significant increases in physical and cyberspace violence, family breakdowns,
crime, ethnic unrest and strange cult group involvement. More disturbing still
was the frequency of these occurrences and the pace at which they were
accelerating. The concern of Mega-Primus citizens was evident as more and more
fled to other cities and colonies. The mass migration was of increasing concern
to those remaining in the city -- the losses in tax revenue constrained the
city's ability to address the problem, and social collapse was the most likely
outcome.
The cause of this rapid social degradation could not be linked to any known
cause. Eventually, it became evident that the source of the problem was alien in
nature.
It's up to you, as the Commander of X-COM forces, to uncover the sinister alien
plan and stop the alien invasion!

Our History
1991
Knew Robot. I saw his brother, Genius at that year.
But, I didn't know Genius at that time.
We're having tuition together at that time. But, we lost contact with each other after a year.
1992
God_Coeus knew Genius.
SIM (Science Information Members) was founded by me.
1993
Leading the SIM well at this year. SIM was under development.
1994
After three years, I met Robot again. Knew Veteran.
We're in the same school at that time. Also, same school bus and same street too. :)
This is called FATE! What can we expected!
1995
Knew Genius, Beginner, God_Coeus, SuperHuman & MAMBA.
We're all have many same points. We're studying in the same school, taking the same bus,
living in the same garden, playing the same PC games called Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis.
We always having fun together at that time.
Still remember! Everyone! We're just normal friends at that time.
Soon, we became good friends. I told them to join my team, SIM (Science Information Members) at that time. SIM was founded by me in the early 1992.
Its a science research group. In the SIM, all of us existence of Ghost & UFO.
The code system began at this year. 001-011. In the same month, ETM (Entertainment Members) was founded. Founder was Beginner.
Almost 11 members in this team. I'm the leader of these team. Beginner is the vice-leader of the team.
We distributed the duties among all. Everyone had his/her duty to do.
Naturally, my house became the Science Research Center. We grouping together to discuss all the mystery of the world, including UFOlogy, Archaeology and many more.
We searching and collecting many information for our projects. Mainly, Project Atlantis was the main subject
we discussed every time we're gathering together. I madly about this project. During the Chemistry Examination day,
I searched the information in the library. Forget to revise my chemistry, Naturally, I failed my Chemistry.
I'm the Atlantis Maniac.
1996
Let the story begin. One day, every things was changed. SuperHuman took a strategy game to my house. The game's name called UFO Enemy Unknown
That day, Robot & Genius were both in my house too. We're very curious about our new game. After finishing setup, we
started log into that new game. At the first scene of the game, there was an introduction of the game. The
introduction showed how's the Alien attacked the earth and how's the XCOM Defenders defeat the Alien. It's COOL!
When we saw the High-Technology of weapons of the XCOM Defenders. At the first time to play that game, we're definitely a Newbies.
SuperHuman show off himself to teach us how to play that game, After finishing show, all of them left my house.
That night, I started to play the game. I almost madly about it.
I recommended to MAMBA in the next day. All of us playing the same games at the period. Soon, I finished the game within two weeks.
We always exchanged our questions and opinions of the game. I always share out my strategy combat experiences to all. I taught them how to handle all alien.
We have amount knowledges of UFO before we played this kind of game. Especially me.
Soon! I founding XCOM Defenders as a eXtraterrestrial COMbat unit. We do have a cabinet system and rank system at the
beginning. There were six person in this team.
We became more closely when doing anything. Because of the systems of XCOM, I am the Commander of the team. I have to plan anything for XCOM. As they were comrades,
they have to obey the orders, the right one only! If I did anything wrong, on of them will take over my place. We're raise a person's rank when the guy has accomplished
a mission or did a GREAT job! It depends the mission he accomplished. Personal attitude is very important in the team. Everyone has their own duty. Every of us will be
reprimanded when one of us did a BAD BAD thing! ;)
XCOM Defenders founded after the movie: Independence Day.
It's hard during the first year, because it just a new beginning of our team. Physical & Fitness training was set up every week! Except me. Not everyone can handle it in this team
can handle it, you know? My muscles build up really fast. I'm felt energy is full after my six packs appears in my abs part. We'd encourage each other every time. We always
thinking about each team mate in any time, any place. No matter what, we've the same destiny.
1997
We have organizing a cabinet for our administration. We separated into many departments.
Each of us is the officer who in charge the department we've set up. Everyone has his own duty to
dedicated to those departments. Every department has different kinds of jobs to do. Most of the departments
are collecting precious information which involved in the field of itself. From the starting, we opening our weekly meeting
to report those developing status & research of the departments and exchanging our opinions for making some plan for our future
development.
Our Annual Meeting will be held in the end of the December. At that annual meeting we'll change our cabinet.
Time flies fast just like lightning.
After half year more, a BAD news have been announced by MAMBA. MAMBA said he'll leave to Penang with his family.
Because the company of his father working now has decided to send his father to there.
We're quite sad at that moment. I discussed with BEGINNER, maybe we should opening a Leaving Ceremony for MAMBA.
So, this job is secretly under taking by us, except MAMBA. At first, we decided to open the ceremony at the nearby
McDonald's restaurant. But, everyone is complaining about no freedom at all if celebrating in the public place.
We can't yell loudly or even cried. So, Go Off MAN! Old McDonald's ASS is kick off by us. HIHI!
Old McDonald no more flock, e...ya....e...ya...o~! HAHA! ;)
Before the day of the ceremony, I exposed the secret to him. He felt so touching.
Soon, in the next day morning. I, ROBOT & GENIUS go to the nearby MarryBrown's Fried Chicken Restaurant to order our menu.
The time is comes, The ceremony is started at the XCOM HQ. Everyone is coming except SuperHuman. Because he can't go out at that time.(?)
BEGINNER bring his champagne to the XCOM HQ. WOW~! That day, is our first time to drink the champagne together. Cheers~~!
Not for fun, but a sad ceremony. Two leaving presents are presented to MAMBA. The first present is a small box which contains a pack of
letter envelope nad stamps; this means I wanna him to write to me to let me know his situation there after leaving, The second one is a memorial cup
given by Super Human; we signed our name on it to make a last forever memorial for MAMBA. (But, he lost it after he back from Penang.)
Soon, he left to Penang few days later. We're all felt sad. Nothing we can do about.
We're taking in November 1997 near our XCOM HQ.
1998
After a month later. Something is HAPPENS! Haha! MAMBA is back! We're all shocked!
I'm the first person who know he's back! He called me when he is back. The reason he is back is
his father decided to change another job. This good news really make us a Big Surprise.
Soon, MAMBA, ROBOT, GENIUS & Super Human are studying in Senior One. BEGINNER is studying in Senior Two.
But, MAMBA has changed to Government High School. He can't be with us in the same school. Because he and I are retained.
I & ROBOT are in the same class. If I didn't retain in this year, I should be a Senior Two student. Shit~!
You know why!? Because I'm crazy about playing the XCOM PC game. So, wasted lots of time on it.
Blah...Blah....Blah....Get bad results......Retained for one year......:( Bad! Huh~~!
This year all of us has changed. We don't have lot time for gathering together. After MAMBA changed to
Government High School, he is seldom meet BEGINNER, ROBOT, GENIUS & SuperHuman. Only I and he are always meet each
other for discuss something. Because both of us have organize another team. HIHI~!
This team called Midnight Slayer Hacking Team (MSHT). Also, Midnight Slayer
Justice Fighter (MSJF) is founded after few months. Not to talk too much about it. Because I'm now
writing history for XCOM Defenders not Midnight Slayer. HiHi~! :)
This year is really a special year. My interested in Sports has been increasing. This year I started learning Boxing & Kick Boxing. Also, long distance cycling & jogging have
been add up into my training routine. I started BodyBuilding in the end of last year 1997. I always borrow dumb bells and bar bells from MAMBA. His father is a body builder too.
Now, MAMBA had influent by me. He started body building too. So, we're more closely to discuss about BB
(body building). This year our XCOM training has been ended. Because no one can handle my strict training programs.
ROBOT is a lazy bone on sports. So, this year only Badminton is one of sports which retain in our training programs.
But, I & MAMBA didn't give up our personal training programs. Vice versa, we increasing our training routine. More
sports had add on. Quite busy in this year too because I working as a part time in a Rubble Stamp Maker Company as a computer programmer.
I have to cycling to there when I get the call. I always borrow the bike from MAMBA.
In the end of this year, I have buy my new LERUN mountain bike. At last this year ended, I felt quite emotional. Always in the low emotion.
Always thinking of how to suicide myself. Because so many bothering problems surrounding me.
If not concerning of MAMBA & BEGINNER, especially MAMBA. I wouldn't exists in this world now. Maybe I will waiting for them in the REAL UNDERGROUND (HELL).
I travel to my hometown in the end of December. The adventure, outdoors activities & water sports paradise of Malaysia, Sabah. Sipadan island is quite near my living state.
Actually, it's situated on the same region of my hometown.

1999
This year I'm stronger ever before. Long distance cycling has already becoming our habitual life style now.
I & MAMBA, also my assistant coach. We always cycling together in the long distance journey. Soon, o
our new team is organized. Midnight Slayer eXtreme Sports Team.
Also, I have started up the Cyber Special Operation Forces Official Homepage. This team is grouping up
all few teams I founded or organized. There are four teams in the Cyber Special Operation Forces.
(1)XCOM Defenders, (2)Midnight Slayer Hacking Team, (3)Midnight Slayer Justice Fighter, (4)Midnight Slayer
eXtreme Sports Team. I designed those web pages for them for a lasts forever memorial to them. Also, for me to
remember those sweet or sad memories when we're all together. I, MAMBA, GENIUS & Super Human will taking the
government examination in the coming December.
BEGINNER has just graduated in the end of November. Greeting to him.......This year is the most wonderful year. Because we can all gathering together in the most time.
MAMBA is prepare to leave to Australia for his Diploma course in Sydney's TAFE College.

2000
BEGINNER has start his new school life in Southern College near our living area. He taking Bussiness Administration Course now.
A boring year......Because MAMBA has just left to Australia. How nice of MAMBA, he can celebrating the coming of the
NEW MILLENNIUM YEAR in the beautiful city, Sydney. How envy I am. HaHa~!
Also, this guy can see the greatest event of the world's largest sports games, Olympic 2000 in Sydney too.
There is nothing to do. So, what can I do is continue spreading our team works culture through the Cyberspace.
This shorted up the distance between a human communication. This year, MAMBA is not around here. He's in other region.
So, everything is pretty boring. No too much of fun or entertainment. But, I have to continue my research and personal skill & knowledges
development.
Also, my training routine too. This year, everyone is quite busy. Because this year is our graduation year.
Everyone has to study hard to get good results on the UEC (Unified Entrance Certificate) Examination.
Soon, a year is passing. Now, everyone is just graduated from high school. I'm now doing web-building job.
ROBOT & GENIUS staying at home. ROBOT is really a lazy bone. HeHe! Always playing the PC games. Nothing else
to do. GENIUS is finding a English course to upgrade his English skill. SuperHuman is now staying at home. A good news is
he'll be a temporary teacher in the next coming of new millennium year 2001. BEGINNER is now studying Soon, MAMBA is coming back soon.
He coming back during his school holidays. So, just waiting for his coming back.
2001
New Member, God_Coeus Join as 004. He once was our member before.
Reserved 002 to Veteran. As a Leader of XCOM Defenders, I've decided to reserved 002 forever life.
002 is reserved to a former member of XCOM Defenders. His name is Tan Chee Hui, Code Name. Veteran.
He was our Adviser and Vice Leader before. 002 is presented to him last forever life as a memorial.
Beginner is now half-working and half-learning as a Technician. Great news of Beginner, He'll move back to Perling at August. God_Coeus is still studying at Foon Yew High School in the Electronics & Electrical Class. Same stream as Predator & Robot before we graduated from FYHS last year. MAMBA is still in Australia. Robot is now studying at INTI College Malaysia in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. He taken Electronic & Electrical Engineering course.
Genius is now studying at University Of Adelaide in Australia. He taken Civil Engineering Course. SuperHuman is now studying at Singapore Polytechnic. He taken Diploma in Civil Engineering course.
In the Early December, we've a little gathering. Genius back from Adelaide, Australia. Robot back from INTI College, SuperHuman back from Singapore Poly. Me, Genius, Robot & Superhuman having a gathering near a malay restaurant opposite the Shell Petrol Station.
24 December, My last Christmas Eve in Malaysia. Invited by MAMBA's family for Christmas Eve Dinner. Got Turkey that night. I feel very happy for sharing dinner with MAMBA's Family. His family are really friendly, caring & kind to me. Thanks!
2002
In 15 January, MAMBA back from Sydney, Australia. After spending the Chinese New Year Festival in Malaysia with his family. He will go back with Predator on 15 February. Predator will leave for Australia for many years to finish his higher studies in Australia. Maybe he will stay last forever there. It depends.
Predator already found a Australia Cruise Agency for Beginner. Beginner will apply for the position of cruise company as soon as possible. Anyway, wishing him good luck.
