Description

 AUTO START DOSKEY WHEN RUN MS-DOS-PROMPT.

TIP

While using DOS-PROMPT in windows you might want to repeat several Commands several times. if you remember good old days you used to use DOSKEY. DOSKEY stores each Command typed by you and Commands can be recalled by pressing Up & Down Arrows. In Windows environment you can use DOSKEY and one very easy way to start DOSKEY everytime you start MS-DOS-PROMPT is :

  1. Place a MS-DOS Prompt Shortcut at desktop.
  2. Select Shortcut and right click the right mouse buttons.
  3. Select property.
  4. Select from the Tab-Options.
  5. Type "DOSKEY" in the place of batch-file.
  6. Click On Apply Button and then Click OK.
  7. Start MS-DOS prompt.
  8. Type Few command.
  9. Press Up & Down Keys you will see that command appears.

NOTE :- If you use "DOSKEY > NUL" in place of "DOSKEY" , you will not see "Dos Key Installed" Message every time you run MS-DOS Prompt.
