Legoland Windsor |
Legoland is located just outside Windsor (where you can find the only inbabited royal castle too)). Apparently there are similar parks in California, Germany, and Denmark too. The park is set up like Disney World, where there are different themes (see map below). The best of which (I thought) was "Miniland," which had lego versions of European countries and landmarks. It is amazing what can be built with Legos. Davis is still a little to young to enjoy most of the park, but he still enjoyed being outside and playing with the legos and rides he could handle. |

The actual Millenium Dome may be defunct, but the Lego version is still intact |
The weather was quite warm and sunny ... lots of liquids and head cover required |
I always thought St Paul's Cathedral was bigger |
Some big building in Germany ... can't remember which ... any ideas ??? |
Brighton Pier and Ferris Wheel (England) |
Can you tell which "character" is made of Legos??? |
Hittin' Some of the Rides |
The Ferris Wheel was pretty fun ... but my favorite is always the Merry Go Round |
Davis makes his last minute inspection of his legocycle ... |
... the race is long and the competition is tough ... |
... but in the end it is Davis atop the winner's platform, and he would remain the Lego Cyclocross Champion |
Traveling Legoland and the competition of the Cyclocross can really take a lot out of a little guy |
