The only time I ever remember being on a Amtrac was in early September.  We were around LZ Ross.  Riding on it was a pecular experience.  I had figured when we started out that this would beat the hell out of walking.  But it turned out to be sort of scary.  I felt like we were just a rolling target and was pretty happy to get off of it.

Don't know where or when this was taken.

This was probably taken around Tugboat or Cobb Bridge.

This area was known as the Bo Bans after a couple of villages of that name.

We spent a good part of time in Vietnam patrolling.  Most of the time nothing happened.  It fact Vietnam could be about as boring as anything you can imagine. What we no doubt have here is a bunch trying to amuse themselves some way.

April 21, 2001.  Just talked to Bob Muth.  He said it was Gus Mann doing the throwing.  They were patrolling around Tugboat and stopped along the river for a break and started throwing grenades in the river to see if they could get any fish.

Well, entertainment is where you find it, I guess.
