The First Battalion
This organization, which was formed during
the 125th Anniversary reenactment of Gettysburg, does not represent a specific
unit, but rather a generic Army of Northern infantry battalion of 1863-65
at reenactments and living history events. The Battalion accepts both units
of at least five members and individuals residing along the Central Eastern
Seaboard for active and authentic reenacting in one of our already established
companies. The Battalion is a member of the umbrella organization 1st Division,
A.N.V. The Battalion stresses authentic uniforms, weapons, camping, tactics,
and experience. If you are not a member of a unit, we can match you to the
unit near you.
