For the the people who dont know the
R.A.F REGIMENT are the grunts that provide ground protection for the R.A.F
stations,nuff said.
I was a gunner for five years, the best five years of my life.I had to
depart due to ill health.However i keep in touch with all
of my mates and we get a regular outing to the british grand prix every
year...
The REGIMENT demands the best from its gunners and it could be said its the
forces only all weather fighter,after all they do supply the QUEENS COLOUR
SQUADRON. Respect.I didnt get picked for parades because i march like heman
munster but i still manged to tick tock a few parade grounds in my

I suppose the regiment could be likened to an army regiment based at the raf
nicknamed rocks or rock apes due to the connections with gibralta.
