| The purpose of the group is to enable descendants to maintain contact and share information with each other through this website. Membership in the Descendants Association is free, and open to anyone with an ancestor who served in the Pennsylvania Bucktails. Non-descendants, who are historians of the regiment, are also welcome for membership. To join, please e-mail your name, along with the name and company of your ancestor, to myself, Augie Marchetti III. The list that I will publish here will include your name, your e-mail address, and the name and company of your ancestor who served in the 13th Reserves (42nd Pa Regt, 1st Pa Rifles), 143rd & 150th Pennsylvania Regiments. However if you are that of a 149th descendant, please contact Tom Reilley, webmaster of the 149th Pennsylvania Website. He is the owner of that Association. You are also invited to contribute unpublished stories and photos of your ancestor - postwar is fine -, for use on this page. |
