IT SHOULD NOT BE IN VAIN

In 1776 we sure didn't know what we were getting into. We could have done a lot worse but we didn't do too bad so far.

"We the people" what exactly does that mean? The rich the powerful. No it means all the people. No matter what color or creed.

Our military has fought all over the world to ensure our freedom and that of other people. Freedom should not be taken for granted.

In the atomic age it is most important that our military be on the cutting edge to protect us and our allies from international terrorism. Be it atomic or other. Foreign or domestic.

Lets not forget the men and women who have given their lives so that we could remain free. Freedom is not free it comes with a very heavy price.

And please never forget our POW'S and MIA'S. Including my own brother in law. Leonard C. Hull. Mia in Korea since 1950. NEVER FORGET.

Nor should we forget our veterans. The men and women who served in our armed forces. The ones that helped make our way of life possible.

We live in the most powerful and most prosperous country on the face of the earth. But it wouldn't be that way without the sacrifices of all our people. No matter what color or creed.
Let it not be in vain.

The one thing we seem to forget in this country is that our military wants and needs our support.

You may ask why I care?

BECAUSE I WAS THERE.

I was there since the battle of Brandywine.

I was at the British surrender at Yorktown.

Since the battle of Brandywine I have been at every battle Americans have ever fought.

I have even been on the Moon with you.

I live in your Homes, your Schools, your Parks and hopefully your Hearts.

I AM YOUR FLAG.
