The McLemore Detachment is participating in the Fallen Marine Program. The purpose of this program is to honor Fallen Marines and offer our condolences to the family. The program includes a salute to the Fallen Marine and presentation of a certificate or condolence card.

We will attend, at the families convenience, the funeral service, memorial service, the wake, or the internment to present the certificate and, if appropriate, we will conduct the flag presentation ceremony. The certificate presentation ceremony takes about 5 minutes and is conducted by members of the McLemore Detachment of the Marine Corps League. If we cannot attend we will send the certificate or condolence card.

To be eligible for this presentation the Fallen Marine must be currently in The United States Marine Corps or honorably discharged from The United States Marine Corps.
