Added Kaiser3's tale to the Sniper
Tales section. It tell of how someone changed their view of snipers,
much like how the "grunts" in the military eventually came to not criticizing
snipers. Check it out.
I'm adding a bi-pod to my gun.
It's the Harris L Model. I've already got the bi-pod, but I gotta buy some
sling studs. I'll have some pics of it once it's put together.
12/26/99 6:57 PM
I added a Super 9 review to the
Reviews section. Check it out to
hear the truth. I certainly was surprised...

For those of you who have been
wondering about the accuracy of the Steyr SSG PIV (which is what I am going
to be calling the APS-2 SV from here on out, because it sounds more professional),
check out the Reviews section.
I love this gun! I shot my little brother who was running up a hill about
40 yards away from me! I love it!!!

I added some more stuff to the
Reviews section, the the APS-2
SV review.

Added a brand new tale by Neo_Snake
in the Tales section. It's pretty
cool, and demonstrates true fieldcraft.
I got to handle my little bro's
(he's 12) Steyr TMP with a sound suppressor! We have no gas for it yet,
but boy, it is AWESOME!!! It actually has baffles in the silencer that
you can see, and I'm surprised it got through customs!!! Veryg ood quality,
and in the manual, it had a pic of a real steel Steyr SSG PI, which is
the APS-2!!!
12/21/99 6:14 PM
Added a Remington 700 to the Sales
section. It is a very good deal for the gun.
Updated the Links
section with a few new links. Check it out if you want some new sites to
go into.
12/20/99 8:29 PM
There is a new link in the Links
section. It is Silenced Air, a site created by me and some fellows who
would like to provide the airsoft community with quality silencers. Check
it out if you have any spare time.

I completed the M40 in the Sniper
Rifles section, so check it out. I also added more info on scopes and
gas conversions, and updatd my to-do sniper rifle list.

on the Sniper Rifles page.

new sections are up, so look to the Table of Contents to see what is new.

the Snipers section of my page.

Sorry for not updating in a while.
I've been bust setting up my deal. BUT, I do have a new section: Sniper
Tales. Check it out. It's only got one tale so far, so add any that
you may have.
In case you were wondering where
the November news went, it has gone to the newly created Archives
section. Check it out if you missed anything from last month.
12/3/99 7:31 PM
I have ended the first sniper test.
Congratulations to all who entered: you now have a firm place here at Sniping
in Airsoft, and all those who recieved a 70 or higher will be ranked in
my Sniper's Hall of Fame (coming soon). Go check
out the answers.

Smurfett
is putting her gun up for sale. Damn: that gun was nice, too. I only got
to use it a few times, but that gun was one of the reasons I wanted an
APS-2 SV. In case you didn't know, her gun sported a Harris L Bi-Pod, the
"Super" Sling, a 300% spring, upgraded internals (spring guide, piston,
etc. are all aluminum), an aluminum sound suppressor (made the gun a very
low WHOOMP that couldn't be heard from 35 yards), a custom barrel (made
by a gunsmith) in 6.03, a custom camouflage job, and a Simmons 3-9X50mm
variable scope (the same one I got) with Weaver Rings. It could shoot farther
than 100 meters accurately (a chest size area), but it could go farther
than that. She is selling it for $600. E-mail her if you are interested.
For all you unfortunate ones with not enough money to buy it, I'll try
to snag some pics of it before she sells it (she hates that).
I'm getting the APS-2 SV from DEN
Trinity for Christmas with the 450 fps custom set and 1, 300 .3g BBs.
Including Speedpost shipping, that's going to cost my parents : ) around
$480. It's gonna rock.
The APS-2 SV manual that I am making
is still under construction: it should be done by the end of January. It
is going to include:
-
Everything about the gun (manufacturer, weight, metal parts, etc.)
-
Range
-
Accuracy
-
What BBs are good for it
-
Peformance in battle
-
Photos (possibly color)
-
Extensive tests, including durability, etc.
-
Disassembly
-
A LOT more!!!
Stay tuned!
