"People...think you go out and hide and blow
everybody asunder. We don't do that. We pick our
targets-leaders, operators of crucial weapons,
communications people. We don't go out and
indiscriminately kill."
Carlos Hathcock
USMC Sniper
The reticles align his head...
You pull the trigger. A low noise
is exerted from your Steyr SSG PIV, and the target is down, a 6 millimeter
pellet hitting him in the jaw.
A scenario such as this is not
uncommon for the few airsofters who have what it takes to the be the sniper.
A sniper must be a unique soldier that is capable of placing long-range
shots on assigned or specialized target(s). They must be capable of acknowledging
when and when not to take a shot. Few people are capable of this.
I am creating this page to acknowledge
the few snipers that make (or try to make) an impression on the airsoft
world. In this page, I will explain to you everything I know about airsoft
sniping, including rifles, and true airsoft snipers. I will also go so
far as to help you with training drills that may make you a better sniper.

You just might have noticed it already, but the pages have an
new outlook and it is done be me. Any complaints or possible error reports
concerning the actual html (not the text or anything like that) should
propably be posted to me at eldarion@kolumbus.fi.
I also love to hear comments and suggestions.
The idea of conversion was to make the pages easier to read and ..
professional.

Hey all, I just got back from Brandi's
(Smurfett's) house. We were working on some new stuff at her website on
my Grandma's computer (whom we visited earlier), including a Database section,
which will have listings of tactics, all sniper rifles, ammo, parts, and
more. All of the images are in place, but, unfortunately, my grandma disconnected
her modem, so it may be a while. But, in that time, we may join our web
sites for ease of use reasons.
I have added Calvin's G3/SG-1 to
the Sales section, so check it out. I am also going to be adding a Marukoshi
UX Super X Sniper Rifle (modeled after the Mauser SP66) with a thumbhole
stock, which can be found at the airsoftguns.com auction.
Phil Main (POTI) sent me some M40
pics. They are located in the gallery. Enjoy!
I put all of the old January news
in it's respective archive, which can be found at the bottom of this page.

I GOT IT!!! I finally got my very
own Guns Digest 2000 Catalog! For those of you who do not have this, you
MUST get it if you are a serious airsofter! They have everything in here,
including some stuff that I have never heard of before (like an M700 Synthetic
Stock version for around $155). Here are some highlights of the mag, sniper
related, of course. I'm goiing to send all of the APS-2 SV stuff to Smurfett
for her manual.
APS-2 SV Camouflage
Although there are no images of the gun listed in the catalog, there
are two or three pictures of someone using it, and, let me tell you, this
gun looks nice. However, seeing these pictures leads me to believe that
there is a camouflage stock for the APS-2 SV: in these pictures, only the
stock is camouflage. However, in all of the pictures that I have seen elsewhere,
the entire gun is camo...Hmmm...Anyways, their gun had a nice scope on
it, a Harris Bi-Pod, a sling, and a neat SNIPER sticker on the stock.
Blaser R93
This gun is MEAN LOOKING! With a grooved barrel, a fully adjustable
stock, and sweet looks, this rifle rules. It looks to be based on an APS-2
SV, however, or at least uses some of it's parts: I noticed that the bolt
is very simiilar to it. Anyways, this baby is going roughly for $1,700.
It holds 25 rounds
L96A1
This gun looks so awesome! It comes with a scope AND a small bi-pod,
yet it is les than the R93, which comes with no scope or bi-pod. This rifles
comes in at just about $1,300, and holds 15 rounds. VERY nice.
M700
This is quite an odd rifle. It has a black Monte Carlo synthetic stock,
with an a short silve barrel. It seems to have something sticking out below
the barrel. I was thinking a ram rod, but...Anyways, it has sling swivels,
and, while it doesn't look too nice, it does only weigh in at $160 or less,
so check it out. It's only 835mm long, and holds ten rounds.
Model 700 and M40A1
These rifles are pretty much what I was expecting, but now at least
I could tell the differences between them. Judging from the pictures, the
M700 comes with mounts, and is longer than the M40. It's stock isn't as
fancy as the M40's, but it costs around $300. The M40A1 comes with sling
studs, a BULL barrel, and costs around $400. Redwolf is kinda ripping people
off. Just a little...
M700 PSS and US Army M24
These guns are REAL nice! Both sporting synthetic stocks and grooved
barrels, bi-pods, a scope, and 25 rounds. The M700 costs $1,900, while
the M24 costs around $3,600. Nice guns, if you have $1,000 lying around.
Well, I'll add some more later,
but that's the majority of the rifles.

Hey, sorry for the late update.
I've been quite busy getting a game squared away, and my Guns Digest 2000
should arrive next week. YESSSS!!!
Ahem, anyways, I received some
pictures of a disassembled M40, and many other pics of it, from Phil
Main (SARCOM). I'll put those up, along with some Guns Digest 2000
pics up later.
I have found KM/HEAD 19.50's web
page!!! Although only in Japanese (any help with translation info would
be appreciated), it still is easy to tell which products are for which
gun. They have something for the Super 9 Pro, too! More later.

I scanned my manual the best i
could and zipped it up and its availible, Here
or at the rifles page.

Well I just got hop up instructions
from smurfett(thanks again ;) but I doubt that they would work, besides
its not that big of a deal anyway. I should have pics up soon hopefully!
