AGM-122A Sidearm Missile

The Sidearm is a short-range air-to-ground anti-radiation missile. It is designed to detect, home on, and destroy or disable enemy radar transmitters.Sidearm is currently launched from the AH-1 helicopter. It is currently being considered for use on other close support fixed wing aircraft. The Sidearm borrows from existing Sidewinder (AIM-9) technology and design is similar in appearance except for color.
