AGM-84/E-1 (SLAM) Missile
SLAM short for "Standoff Land Attack Missile", is an air to surface missile with a standoff range sufficient to ensure high survivability of launch aircraft in attacks against surface targets.
Primary mission:
To strike high value fixed land targets and ships in port. It also has the capability of attacking ships at sea.
Designated for use on the F/A-18 aircraft

Basically the same weapon as the Harpoon with the exception of the guidance section.
Guidance section - Contains an infrared seeker, global positioning system, radar altimeter, mid course guidance unit, and has data link capabilities.
