BGM-71 TOW Missile
The BGM-71 TOW missile was first developed for the U.S. Army as a surface-to-surface antitank weapon. It is currently used by the U.S. Marine Corps as an air-to-ground weapon.TOW is propelled by a two-stage solid propellant rocket motor. It is extremely effective against tanks, armored personnel carriers, bunkers, small boats, and airfield facilities.TOW is stored and delivered to the fleet as an All-UP-Round (AUR) missile.

(2) Diameter - 8.6 inches
(3) Weight - 54 pounds with an explosive warhead weight of approximately 5 pounds.
Three training versions are also available. The BTM-71A and the BTM-71A-1 contain inert warheads but live motors. The BTM-71C is an inert dummy round that is used for loading crew training only. It has approximately the same weight and center of gravity as a tactical missile.
