PLUME: This feather structure is a royal representation of pride and dignity through the exercise of strength and true humility.
CAPE: The daring garment cloaks a bold revelation of a genuine manhood.
GRIFFINS: They are wild figures of fearless struggle for freedom. As furious as they maybe, we rage our roaring senses and keen faculties hoping for truth to reign over the tragedies of reality.
SWORD & KRIS: They stand for the firm will to defend our country's liberty and culture through the use of prudent minds sagacious enough to overwhelm.
SHIELDS: We establish our fort against threatening elements of foreign enemies, and at the same time, we eliminate the untrue.
LAURELS & SAMPAGUITA: Peace, honor, success, and excellence are the exquisite goals which a great man strives for. We re guided by our own will to pursue the real essence of our existence.
THREE STARS: Ever loyal we will be to these three regions: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao as we preserve the highly honored virtues of Courage, Integrity, and Loyalty.
CCAFP: The Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines is the royalty marking our reminiscence.
PILLARS: We join our hands in pursuit of a strong, self-reliant Philippines.
NUMERALS 82: It is the year--1982--designating our entrance to the line of officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines and our pursuance of a glorious desire to serve.
