The American Legion is the world's largest veteran's organization.
It is represented by over 15,000 posts in cities and towns all over the world. This organization of wartime veterans strives to serve the community, state and nation through a variety of programs covering everything from Children and Youth to Americanism to Veteran's Affairs and Rehabilitation.

The American Legion in Orfordville is a vital hub of community affairs. With nearly 500 members in the Legion, Auxiliary and/or SAL, we participate in and sponsor many community activities. We sponsor the annual June Celebration Days, Memorial Day and Veteran's Day services and work with Parkview High School in promoting Legion programs.
