The
Vietnam Memorial Wall
There is a Wall
in Washington DC made of marble
five hundred feet long - Ten feet
high, scribed with names of those
who died. There's more than
fifty-eight thousand etched upon
that stone - with the names of
Americans who made the ultimate
sacrifice for their country.
Every name on that Wall had a
family, friends and loved ones
who today, still miss them. These
were "Americans" who
chose not to demonstrate in the
streets, not to go to Canada, but
chose to serve the country they
so loved. Every American owes
these SOLDIERS their gratitude.
If you are ever in Washington DC,
please stop and thank them for
their sacrifice, they will be
listening. I have been a number
of times and each
time I place my hand upon that
wall I can feel
someone talking to me.
