WARLORD'S BUNKER

Warlord ~ USMC ~ Circa May 1976

You have entered Warlord's Bunker. In this bunker, you will find short stories about various Freedom Fighters. These Freedom Fighters are either members of my family or they are friends of my family. In here you will find out how they lived and how they died. It is important to know how they died especially if you think you want to become a Freedom Fighter... for the price for being a Freedom Fighter can be very, very high!

These warriors realized that freedom isn't free. No one will give you freedom... more often than not, you must forcefully take it from power mongers. Power mongers perceive Defenders of Freedom as a threat to their domain... and that suits me just fine... so let the Wars of Freedom rage!

Warlord ~ USN ~ Circa 1989

James Hodges

Ask for me by name, accept no substitutes... this is my home page. I was born August 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. Unlike most of the other Warriors found in my bunker... I am still alive. I have served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy. Matter of fact, I have discharge certificates from both branches, which release me two days apart from each other. I could never understand why I always managed to end up in a uniform.

I got interested in genealogy and discovered that I descend from a good number of Quaker families... Bassett, Brownell, Mosher, Townsend and Wood just to name a few. Even though many of my ancestors were Quaker, they seemed to have this thing for going off to war. Those who couldn't find it in themselves to go to war, often managed to stir the proverbial pot in their own way (i.e. my cousin James Townsend).

In order to provide visitors to my bunker with some insight on the ruler of this domain, I submit a bit of personal philosophy...

The only thing better than dancing on life's razored edge...

Is throwing yourself on it!

Warlord's Political Question of the Year:

When Hillary wrote her book "It Takes a Village..."
Was she really making a statement about what she thought it took to raise a child?
~ or ~
Was it a Freudian slip revealing what she thought it takes to satisfy her husband
(aka: The Commander-in-Heat)?

Proverbs 29:2

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
