We are Terry and Sandy Linville and we were married May 1977. We live in Calvert County MD near the Chesapeake Bay, about 50 miles east of Washington, D.C.
The Linville Family has been in America since about 1683. The first Linvilles to come to America came from Fletching Parish, Sussex, England. I am able to trace my branch of the Linville Family Tree back to 1819 and Kingsman Linville.
Kingsman Linville had five daughters and one son, John Charles Linville, my great-grandfather. He was born in 1859 and died in 1901. He had 4 sons and 2 daughters.
My grandfather (Arthur Andros Linville, 1890-1936) the youngest of the four brothers was a salesman during the depression. Before his death he had one daughter and one son. Robert William Linville (my father) was born in 1922 in Chicago, IL.
I am the second son of Robert and Irene (Stoutenburg) Linville. In May 1977 I married Sandra Gilroy of La Plata, MD. We have two sons, Jason and Justin.
Justin married Leah Welch of Casper, Wy (2/22/2000). With the birth of Mattea on January 11, 2001 there are 4 generations of Linville's living in our family line. |
