Welcome to the McDevitt-Rademaker Family Geneology Site. My name is Brian McDevitt and I am the Administrator. Despite all the Media Hype about who were/are the most influential people of the 20th Century, the most influential people who had a direct impact on our lives are probably our parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. With that in mind, anyone searching for relatives from Wisconsin with the surnames of Rademaker or Rademacher, Wolfinger, Rammer, Lammers, Babcock, Baker, and Clark in the Sheboygan, Calumet, Juneau, Outagamie, Clark and Chippewa Counties may find some useful information here. I have also posted Mitchell and McDevitt/McDaid names from my family around the Boston, Massachusetts area who came from Donegal and Galway Ireland in this century. The names below are heads of families and clicking on one should lead you to a family tree outline. I have only listed as far down as my grandparents in most cases for privacy but will gladly give information beyond this generation.

Peter Rademaker and Barbara Rammer of Wilson Township, Sheboygan County and Woodville Township, Calumet County, Wisconsin. Their son Walter settled just east of Stanley, Wisconsin in Thorp Township, Clark County with his wife Katherine Wolfinger.

Franz Wolfinger and Rosina Hartmanstofer of Wilson Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

Richard (Rutger) Lammers and Helene Vandeloo of Lima Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

John and Mary Baker born in New York, lived in Seymour, Outagamie County and Boyd, Chippewa County, Wisconsin. Their son Warren Baker lived in Thorp Township, Clark County, Wisconsin.

Leonard Clinton Babcock and Elizabeth Luddington (sp?), Both born in Connecticut, lived in upstate New York, Monroe and Orleans counties, Michigan in Kalamazoo and finally settled in Lindina Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin. Some of their children would later move to Minnehaha County, South Dakota.

Thomas Clark and Euphemia Belle, Born in Scotland, of Lindina Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin. Their oldest son Hugh Thomas later moved to Thorp in Clark County.

Ignatz Rammer of Wilson Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

Jacob and Theresa Wolfinger of Wilson Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Part of the family moved to St. Florian Township, Lauderdale County, Alabama in the 1870's. This is a great place to search for missing relatives from Germany/Prussia. A large settlement of immigrants moved here from IL, WI, MI.
