We do everything from Auto Extraction, Search and Rescue, High Angle Rescue, Water Rescue and landing Lifeline. We also help the county and local police departments when they call for help. We are a E.M.S. base department we also help the local ambulance service and Emergency Management. |
Mission Statement The mission of the Clay County Search and Rescue Team is to save life and to provide emergency assistance to victims of accidents and/ or disaster. It is also your mission to provide trained personnel to conduct ground search and rescue operations with the sole purpose of saving lives and to also conduct disaster relief operations. Who we serve Clay County is located in west central Indiana. Brazil is the county seat of Clay County, and is located on U.S. Highway 40, 12 miles east of Terre Haute, Indiana; 57 miles west of Indianapolis, Indiana. Clay County, Indiana is located in West Central Indiana at the crossroads of America. Clay County is intersected (east and west) by Interstate 70, which spans the nation. Clay County (population 26,000) is rural in nature with Brazil (population 8,500) the county seat. |
