While other companies in VietNam talk about their Gunship Cover capabilities, THE CROCODILES, Otherwise known as the "CROCS", are providing close air cover for those in need of suppressive air fire. Not only do the Crocs own Gators slicks express their appreciation for one of the most comrorting air cover, but so do other assault hellicopter companies. Their deadly fire power is always all looked forward to sight by ground elements in contact. On a call for scramble the Crocs are cranked within 10 minutes and are enroute to provide accurate and liminating fire for those in need.

What makes the Crocodile Guns so effective? Professionalism! Each Gunship pilot performs his duty intelligently and skillfully, He knows the rules of thesystem and lives by them. His crews are expert Gunners and have claimed their share of enemy lives. An intregal part of the crews proficiency is keeping their ships and its armament systems functioning properly. The other asset atributing to their effectiveness is pride! They are proud to be CROCODILES and convey this pride by calling themselves "KILLER CROCS".

During the Dak Seang Seige the Crocodiles, in more than one way exhibited their ability by flying through hail of steel as they provided uncomparable cover."Croc 6", Cpt SAUFLEY, and his crew distinguished themselves and their ship was hit by small arms and recoiless rounds, which set their Gunship a blaze in flight, Cpt SAUFLEY jetisoned his armament systems, landed while taking numerous hits from enemy small arms, and exstracted the crew of "Croc 6". Both Crews were cited for Heroism. During this battle the Crocs were acconted for having killed several NVA'S This is just one of many Heroic feats the CROCIDLES have performed.
