VHCMA REUNION 1998

IRVING,TX

The reunion is over. A good time was had by all. There was so little time to visit and so many friends. The people of Texas were great host. And for that we thank them. The city of Irving presented the VHCMA with a state flag. And set aside the day for us. Below are just a few af the people and sites that were there.

Old and new friends. Some I met last year, Some for the first time this year. All are on the net. We stay in contact through out the year.


Chuck Carlock brought two aircraft for the VHCMA to view. They sure took us back in time. The inside of the (HUEY) was filled with details.
Just like the crew had just walked away. From the CHICKEN PLATES, to the spent rounds from the M-60"s. Smoke to what ever the crew carried for the day. You could close your eyes and go back to a time long ago.
A few of the guys took some private time with the aircraft. Showed members of their family how we fit in . How and what some of the parts of the aircraft were for. Snapped a few pictures and walked away slowly. Most took one last look before heading home. " Thanks Chuck "
