This is the general area where LTJG Paul Eugene Swigart Jr. was last known to have been located in with the longitude and latitude as the last known coordinates of: 175607N 1074416E (YE900850).

The coordinates given, however (175607N 074416E) are most definitely offshore from North Vietnam, about 80 miles east of the city of Rong. The grids (YE900850) are consistent with a loss offshore of North Vietnam.
Little hope was held that Swigart survived the crash of his aircraft and he was declared Killed/Body Not Recovered.
