Graz
A Finnish
Replacement Company was established in September 1941 at Radom. It was
part of the "Wiking's" Replacement Battalion (Ersatz-Bataillon der Legionen)
and was soon transferred to Graz, Austria.
Finnish
Replacement Company took care of the convalescents and "those 200" men
send as replacements from Finland in autumn 1942. Now most of the officers
and NCOs were Finnish, although the company leader was German, SS-Obersturmführer
(Lieutenant) Schröder. |
