Welcome to the City of Miami Police Explorer Post 106 Homepage. If you are interested in police work and live in Miami this program is for you.
WHAT ARE POLICE EXPLORERS? Police Explorers are a
volunteer program sponsored by the Miami Police Department.
It is a part of the HEROS program. (Helping Enforcement
Reach Our Streets). The Explorer program is governed by the rules of
the Boy Scouts of America, and is designed to provide high
school age youngsters with the opportunity to learn about a
career in law enforcement. Following an extensive training
program, Police Explorers gain insight into police work
through first-hand experience, assisting police
professionals in a variety of departmental and community
activities.
WHAT THE MIAMI POLICE EXPLORERS WANT:
Good young people with motivation to participate in special projects, learn about police work, and train to become a future
law enforcement officer.
