Hi I'm Gary LaPook
I have been in the Army Reserve for 27 years, 10 years as Chief of
Smoke of an M110A2 8 inch howitzer battery. I also served as a senior armor
instructor in M60 tanks for 5 years and am now a Captain in the JAG corps
in the 425 CA BN.
In addition to artillery, tanks and machine guns my interests
are:
flying, shooting, sailing, ham radio, computers, SCUBA and sky
diving.
I also have a Yamaha 1980 XS 1100 motorcycle which I ride every
day to work. I have posted pictures of it on this site as bike1,
bike2,
bike3,
bike4,
bike6.
Also look at the Cold Springs Tavern, a biker spot north of Santa Barbara California (an old stage coach stop) at coldsprings tavern,
coldsprings tavern #2.
I traveled to Sturgis South Dakota last summer and met with other riders of Yamaha XS11 motorcycles. A discription of this trip and photos can be found at: trip.
more motorcycle stuff.
We had a get together at the Rock Store north of Malibu on May 16, 1999. You can read a report on that and see some pictures at rockstore.
