BRING OUR BOYS HOME

I try to picture the ones that we love
sitting in the dessert being watched from above
the bullets flying all around their heads
and friends sometimes falling soon to be dead.

This is what our boys do
Trying to keep our homes safe for you
They give unselfishly their lives to lay down
and rarely realize how much love abounds.

So I am writing to tell you please let them feel
the gratitude we owe them is so very real
So on your knee get down today
and pray for our soldiers so far away.

Dear lord bring them back home
in one piece still breathing air
allow them the joys
of knowing we care.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!
