THE TRUTH IS COMING OUT !
Retirees and veterans are tired of broken government promises regarding retirement pay, medical benefits, treatment in VA facilities, and more. The injustices are unreasonable and certainly not what they were promised when they enlisted!
Two words come to mind for the injustices done to retirees, disabled veterans and veterans. "PATHETIC" and "TRAGIC"! Have America's men and women who served their country been "double crossed"?
Retirees and veterans are probably your next door neighbor, relative, son/daughter, friend. Not counting the number of men and women who served/fought/died in WWI, WWII, Korea and other military operations .... more than 58,200 men and women "lost their lives" in Vietnam alone! America still has "unaccounted for in action" MIA's! "They" called Vietnam an 'undeclared war'? WAR is WAR! Too many people die! Twenty five years after the war in Vietnam, the nation is told Vietnam was a war the military wasn't allowed to win? Why were we there then if not to win?
Government officials knew we should never have been there? WHY did officials keep this information from military forces and citizens in our country for more than 20 years?
Retiree's and veterans swore an oath of allegiance "to the death for our country". Our congress people swore an oath to provide medical and retirement benefits for the rest of the lives of retirees and veterans. NOW retirees and veterans find those GOVERNMENT promises are almost worthless? Rules and criteria constantly change based on the whim of the VA and Congress. How can Congress change promises made to retirees and veterans by enacting new laws that take away benefits/promises made by earlier congressional members? Where is THEIR honor? Where is the TRUTH?
Retirees and veterans are no longer sitting back and remaining silent about the broken promises! They're uniting to make Congress uphold contracts and promises made to them. Contact your Representatives and Senators and demand they take action and do the right thing.... provide services to those who served their country!
Fortunately, the Internet has become a 'connecting medium' where Retirees and Veterans, veterans with service connected disabilities, and concerned citizens across our great nation are uniting to correct broken promises and injustices enacted by the "unremembering, unserved and forgetful Congress people".
In more ways, people are tired of broken governmental promises from elected officials! The number of congressional members who served their country in any military capacity is now perhaps less than 20%! Do these members believe there is NO REASON to HONOR and FULFILL promises made to military members?
The "fight for what is right and as was promised" is being waged by military retirees, veterans, disabled veterans and active duty men and women from every military branch. The numbers joining grow daily. But let ANY enemy of the people of the United States understand those famous words: "Do not tread on us"!
If you're reading this but might not be a military retiree, veteran, disabled veteran, or on active duty..... you can vote and voice your concerns about your freedoms bought/paid for by the blood of those who fought and died for our freedom. If you been one of "them" and walked in their shoes, would you want your family to be treated by our government promises?
