Protesting the Vietnam War

The people in the United States were unhappy about soldiers fighting in Vietnam. Many protested the Vietnam War. The famous protest over the Vietnam War was in Ohio at Kent State University. Four people were shot dead and others injured as national guards open fired on the students. Another protests that was involved on a college campus was at Jackson State University where Mississippi State Troopers open fired at the students that were protesting the Vietnam War.Two students were killed in the protesting. Many other protesters protested in front of the White House in Washington D.C. A famous group of protesters were called the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW). They were veterans that protested against the war in Vietnam.
