Thomas Bledworth was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on February 20, 1865. His grave is # 1167.

Elijah D. "Doc" Cockerham [listed as J. D. Cochran] was a member of Co. C, 5th Kentucky Infantry. He was born 1835 in Breathitt Co. KY, and was the son of William Cockerham. Elijah married AMANDA ARMINTA LEMASTER February 12, 1857 in the home of John Lemaster, in Morgan Co. KY. He died December 23, 1863 at the approximate age of 29. His grave # is 87.

J. A. Dillingham was a member of Co. C, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He may have been a resident of Caldwell County, KY. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on February 6, 1865. His grave is # 1066.

John S. Dillingham was a member of Co. B, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 27, 1865. His grave is # 1768.

E. Fowler was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on April 24, 1865. His grave is # 1912.

Edward Grigsby was a lieutenant in Co. C, 13th KY Cavalry. He was captured July 7, 1863 during the Second Raid on Gladesville, VA and sent to Camp Chase. He is listed in Camp Chase records as Edwin Grigsby, member of the 10th KY Cav. Edward died on December 9, 1863 and is buried at Camp Chase Cemetery. His Grave # is 79.

J. B. Herring was a member of Co. F, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He was listed as a 13 year-old resident in the Webster County, KY. Census. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 18, 1865. His grave is # 1692.

W. H. Herron was a member of Co. K, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 26, 1865. His grave is # 1761.

P. W. Higdon was a member of Co. F, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on February 22, 1865. His grave is # 1390.

C. Honeberry [listed as G. Honeberger] was a member of Co. B, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He was listed in Company C in Louisville POW records. Captured at Hopkinsville, KY on 14 December 14, 1864 and died at Camp Chase, OH, on February 10, 1865. His grave is # 1170.

Francis A. Kinner was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. Francis was a resident of Webster County, KY. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 13, 1865. His grave is listed as # 1511 but his body was later removed.

Robert M. Lee was a Private in Company C, 6th Kentucky Cavalry. Robert was born April 26, 1822 in Owen County, Kentucky. He was the son of Joseph R. and Mary Wiley Lee. Robert M. Lee was taken prisoner on July 20, 1863 at Cheshire, Ohio, during John Hunt Morgan's Great Ohio Raid. He was received at Camp Chase, Ohio on July 26, 1863. Records state that he died at Camp Chase on August 25, 1863 and was buried there [Note: Most likely his body was intered in the Columbus City Cemetery]. However, his body was later removed. It is believed that family members brought his body back to Owen County and buried him in the Old Pleasant View Cemetery, but no marker has been located.

Winston Lemaster was a private in Company C, 5th Kentucky Infantry. See photograph Winston "Wince " Lemaster was born abt. 1835 in Morgan Co., KY, and was the son of John Lemaster and Judy Christian. He married Nancy Emaline Stacy.
According to Winston's Military records, he deserted the Co. and was captured in Maynardsville, Tennessee (along with his brother, also a member of Co.C). Winston was then taken to Camp Chase where he died on February 20, 1865. His brother Merida Lemaster died there as well. His grave # is 1359.

Merida Lemaster was a private in Co. C, 5th Kentucky Infantry. He was the son of John Lemaster and Judy Christian and a brother to Winston Lemaster [see above]. He was captured in Maynardsville, Tenneessee and taken to Camp Chase were he died on February, 1864. His grave # is 106.

Joseph H. or John Markham [listed as J. Markham]Both men, who were brothers, enlisted in Co. D, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. In the 1850 Census, they are listed as residents in Union County, KY. Both men were captured in Marshall Co., AL on 15 January 1865 and taken to Camp Chase, where one of them died on February 17, 1865. His grave is # 1698.

Isaac N. Martin was a member of Co. B, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 25, 1865. His grave is # 1749.

W. A. Mireson was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on May 10, 1865. His grave is # 1957.

J. Mitchell was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 11, 1865. His grave is # 1618.

John Nunn was a member of Co. K, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on April 5, 1865. His grave is # 1820.

Elijah Perkins was a private in Co. E, 3rd Battalion, KY Mounted Rifles. Elijah was mustered in on March 5, 1862 [conflicting records state that he was mustered in at Owen Co. KY as well as at Gladesville, VA]. On November 18, 1862 he was transferred to Capt. Haven's Co. B, 1st Battalion, KY Mounted Rifles. After being captured in Nicholas Co., KY on April 13, 1863 he was sent to the Military Prison in Louisville, KY. Elijah left Louisville on April 29th, 1863 and sent to City Point, VA, for exchange, via Baltimore.
He was again captured [the records are unclear about the date and place. It states that he was captured on June 11, 1864 in Meade Co. GA, as well as in Owen Co., KY on July 11, 1864]. Elijah arrived at the Military Prison in Louisville from Lexington on August 11, 1864 and was forwarded two days later to Camp Chase where he arrived on August 14th, 1864.
Elijah Perkins contracted small pox at Camp Chase and died on November 5, 1864. His grave # is 403. See more records.

W. D. Phillips was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 3, 1865. His grave is # 1562.

Robert Potts was a member of Co. A, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. In the 1860 Webster County, KY Census, Robert was listed as a 12 year old resident. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on March 2, 1865. His grave is # 1511.

J. D. Rawls was a member of Co. B, 16th Kentucky Cavalry [also called 13th (Sypert's) Kentucky Cavalry]. He died at Camp Chase, OH, on February 18, 1865. His grave is # 1333.
