TO AIRBORNE BOB'S PARATROOPER SITE!

If this site gives the impression, I was a Gung-Ho "OH-DEUCE" jumper and am still very proud of my time as a "SCREAMING EAGLE", then it has accomplished it's purpose.
Served with the 1/502, first D Co. then HH Co. from '62 to '64. Did JUMP SCHOOL @ Ft. Benning.

"The SKULL & BATWINGS patch is from 502 PIR/101st ABN from WW2. We used it in the 60's, we were told it was not an "AUTHORIZED" patch....like we gave a shit....it was cool ! Enough said.

If you look to your right, you can see why Airborne Bob has that confident smile.

Rigger's Patch
I don't remember anyone saying this lately; but this comes from the heart. I wish to personally thank all the RIGGERS. I never had a bad 'chute. And I NEVER forgot that your hard work and dedication was the reason. God bless you all. You were GREAT!
