Chief Warrant Officer grade personel is made up of career soldiers with secondary school education. Soldiers of this grade fill positions like brigade staff member, battalion clerk, administrator etc. After finishing their basic military service (12 months) and becoming a career soldier (from 2 to 20 years), they take a specialized or advanced training phase (from 2 weeks to 6 months) that provides them with a specific area of expertise or concentration. Leadership responsibility significantly increases at this grade. Soldiers need a lot of skills and have to take a special course to fill such positions. Soldiers of this grade fill positions on the battalion and brigade level.
