Explanation Note:

General grade personel is made up of career soldiers with post-graduate university education. Soldiers of this grade fill positions like army chief of staff, division commander, presidential advisor etc. After finishing their basic military service (12 months) and becoming a career soldier (from 2 to 20 years), they take a specialized or advanced training phase (from 3 to 5 years + 2 years) that provides them with a specific area of expertise or concentration. Leadership responsibility is extremly high at this grade. Soldiers need a lot of skills and have to take a special course to fill such positions. Soldiers of this grade fill positions on the division and army level.
