THE 318th REGIMENTAL COMBAT TEAM
"OLD VIRGINIA NEVER TIRES"
The 80th Infantry Division Memorial Association is a non profit organization devoted to the preservation of the memory of those sacrifices made by the men who served in the ranks of the Blue Ridge Division during the Second World War. Headquartered in the Northern Virginia area we portray soldiers serving in the 318th Infantry Regiment and the 305th Engineer Combat Battalion. During the course of the year we participate in public education via living history events as well as selected battle reenactments.
Within this site you will find the history of the 80th Infantry Division from its inception in 1917 through the modern day, some period humor & cartoons, our event calender, photographs from events and links to other sites pertaining to the history of the Second World War.

Statement of Intention
The members of the 80th Infantry Division Memorial Association portray the history of an era that witnessed the greatest suffering that mankind has ever inflicted upon himself. By factually representing the events of that time we seek to keep alive the memory of the immense sacrifices made by those participants who endured, at times, unspeakable cruelty and unimaginable hardships to create the world in which we live today.
"Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it."

Veterans and families; we are looking for photographs to post on this site from your experiences. Any period WWI to present day. Group shots, individual, stateside or overseas. Please help us give this site a more personal character and to remember the faces of our comrads past and present with whom we share so much and owe even more.
Thank You.
Our latest find is a Regimental history of the 318th Infantry Regiment in WWI ! We will be posting the detailed history of that regiment in the upcoming months as well as having the complete regimental roster ! Finally we will be posting a number of hitherto unpublished views of the 80th Division in France in 1917 and 1918 !
We will also be installing a new guestbook that will allow guests to leave and view messages that will hopefully aid those veterans and families looking for friends and relatives. We have had a horrible time accessing the old guestbook.
Finally we hope to host a page herein for the 80th ID Veterans Assocation. A link to that organization's president may be found on the 80th Division's (USA Reserves) on our links page.
