At the end of World War II, 85 officers and 4 enlisted men of the 20th. Fighter Group who died serving the cause of freedom, lay sleeping in graves throughout northern Europe or the surrounding seas. Others were returned to their families. Those never recovered are listed on the 'Tablets' or 'Walls of the Missing' in 4 locations throughout Europe.
May their sacrifices never be forgotten.
