SELECTED MISSIONS
OF THE 20TH.FG

This page is not intended to be a mission by mission accounting of the 20th.FG, but rather a listing for various missions of note (good or bad.) Where possible the original mission reports have been copied verbatim from King's Cliffe. In the future I hope to include an accounting of an escort mission from both the fighter pilot and the bomber crew's viewpoints.

(Please note that I am beginning with the first official mission, not the initial missions of the 20th.FG, in November and early-December, 1943, which were flown by a limited number of pilots to gain operational experience while the Group awaited their mounts.)
