Okay, this is where I explain the most frequently asked question that I get. Why do I use the name SgtMjrJiggs? SgtMjrJiggs was actually a Marine Corps mascott. I wanted a name that would reflect the fact that I was a Marine but I didn't want to use a name that had already been used a million times over. I tried all sorts of names. Gunny. Sgt. Maj. Cpt. All of them had been used continuously. Finally, I remembered the name of the first Marine Corps mascott had been SgtMjr Jiggs. I tried it. No one had used the name yet. So, that's how I came up with such a unique name. No. I am not a SgtMjr. Yes, I was a Marine. Yes, I was a Sgt. Yes, I am still in the Reserves. And no, I am not a dog. Ha Ha Ha. Hopefully this will answer all the questions. If anyone comes up with another, just email it to me and I'll answer it here. Thank You. |

Now for a little info about my experience in the Marine Corps. I went to boot at Parris Island, South Carolina. All females in the Corps go there for boot. I was in platoon 4017. After that, I went to Camp Johnson, North Carolina for training to be a deisal mechanic. After, I spent a year at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. From there, I spent most of my time traveling. I love to travel so I volunteered for every good trip that came my way. LOL. Okay, so I'm giving the short version of it all. LOL. I could tell many stories after 15 years of service, like everyone else, but personally, I don't share those stories with everyone. If you want to know more, become my friend first, then ask me. |
